In brief Zoho ERP launched for India on 23 January 2026. It combines finance, supply chain, billing, payroll, spend management and commerce with GST and payroll compliance. Standard costs ₹999 per user per month billed annually (minimum 5 users) and Premium ₹2,499. For 15 users that is ₹1,79,820 or ₹4,49,820 a year in licences, before GST and implementation. Biz Systems, a Zoho Advanced Partner, implements it at a fixed price.

What is Zoho ERP?

Zoho ERP is an enterprise resource planning product from Zoho, launched for India on 23 January 2026. Zoho describes it as an ERP for Indian businesses, and it launched with editions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and non-profit organisations.

An ERP keeps the records that a growing company otherwise holds in separate places: the accounting package, the stock register, the purchase file, the payroll sheet and the order book. In Zoho ERP those records sit in one product, so a sales invoice, the stock it consumed and the ledger entry it created are the same transaction seen from three sides.

Indian statutory work is part of the product. Zoho lists GST, e-invoicing, EPF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund among the compliance areas it covers. Zoho ERP is offered for India only at present.

Who does Zoho ERP suit, and who does it not suit?

The clearest sign that a company needs an ERP is that stock, production and accounts never agree at month end, and nobody can say which figure is right. The table below is our working guide from projects in India.

Zoho ERP is usually a good fit whenLook at something else when
You make, distribute or retail physical goods and hold stock in more than one locationYou are a service business with no stock. Zoho Books with a CRM is normally enough
Finance, purchasing, stores and payroll each keep their own spreadsheetYour only pain is accounting and GST filing
You need five or more people working in the system every dayYou have fewer than five users. Standard has a five-user minimum
You want payroll and statutory deductions in the same system as the ledgerYour main entity is outside India, since Zoho ERP is India-only at present
Your owner or finance head will give time each week to process decisionsNobody senior can attend a weekly review. The project will stall whatever the software

What modules does Zoho ERP include?

Zoho lists six main areas, plus assets, budgeting and financial close.

Core financials

The general ledger, receivables, payables and banking, with GST and e-invoicing. Budgeting, fixed assets and financial close sit here too.

Supply chain

Purchasing, stock across warehouses and order fulfilment, tied to the same item master the accounts use.

Billing

Quotes, sales orders and invoices raised from the order, so the bill is not typed a second time.

People and payroll

Employee records and payroll with EPF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund.

Spend management

Purchase requests, approvals and expense claims, so spending is approved before it is booked.

Omnichannel commerce

Selling through more than one channel with stock and orders recorded in the same system.

Module names follow Zoho's product page. The one-line descriptions are ours. Check the edition you plan to buy for the exact feature list.

How much does Zoho ERP cost in India?

Zoho publishes four editions. Prices below are as listed by Zoho on 5 October 2026.

EditionBilled annuallyBilled monthlyLimits and notes
Standard₹999 per user / month₹1,399 per user / monthMinimum 5 users; 100,000 transactions a year
Premium₹2,499 per user / month₹2,999 per user / month300,000 transactions a year
Employee self-service₹249 per employee / month₹299 per employee / monthFor employees who need self-service access only
CustomQuoted by Zoho

Licence prices exclude GST. Zoho offers a 14-day trial. Prices change, so confirm on Zoho's pricing page before you budget.

Three points decide the edition. The first is the user count: Standard starts at five users, so the smallest annual Standard bill is 5 × ₹999 × 12 = ₹59,940. The second is transaction volume. Standard allows 100,000 transactions a year and Premium 300,000. Zoho's pricing page defines what counts as a transaction, so estimate your yearly invoices, bills and orders against that definition before choosing. The third is the feature list of each edition, which Zoho publishes on the same page.

You buy licences from Zoho directly. Our implementation fee is separate. For other Zoho products, use our Zoho pricing calculator.

Worked example: annual licence cost for a 15-user company

Take a company in India with 15 people who work in the ERP every day: accounts, purchase, stores, despatch and management. The arithmetic uses the listed prices and covers licences only. It excludes GST and implementation.

OptionArithmeticLicence cost per year
Standard, billed annually15 users × ₹999 = ₹14,985 a month; × 12 months₹1,79,820
Standard, billed monthly15 users × ₹1,399 = ₹20,985 a month; × 12 months₹2,51,820
Premium, billed annually15 users × ₹2,499 = ₹37,485 a month; × 12 months₹4,49,820
Premium, billed monthly15 users × ₹2,999 = ₹44,985 a month; × 12 months₹5,39,820

Paying annually saves ₹72,000 a year on Standard and ₹90,000 a year on Premium for these 15 users.

If the same company also gives 45 other employees self-service access, add 45 × ₹249 = ₹11,205 a month, or ₹1,34,460 a year. The licence total then becomes ₹3,14,280 a year on Standard or ₹5,84,280 a year on Premium. Confirm with Zoho how self-service licences combine with each edition before relying on this second figure.

How does Zoho ERP differ from Zoho Books and Zoho One?

Zoho does not publish a side-by-side comparison of these three. The table below is Biz Systems' working view, formed from implementing them, and should be read as our opinion.

In practice the choice comes down to where the complexity sits. If it sits in accounting alone, Zoho Books is the smaller and cheaper answer. If it sits across sales, support, HR and projects, Zoho One covers more departments. If it sits in stock, purchasing and production, Zoho ERP is the product built for that. Many companies run Zoho ERP together with Zoho CRM, with CRM winning the order and ERP fulfilling it. Ask Zoho how the products are bundled before assuming one subscription covers another.

How does Zoho ERP sit against Tally and SAP Business One?

Tally is the accounting software most Indian accountants know well, and many companies keep it for years. The usual reason to look beyond it is that orders, stock movements, approvals and payroll have grown up in spreadsheets around the accounting package. SAP Business One is SAP's ERP for small and midsize companies and is sold and implemented through SAP partners. Zoho ERP is a newer product, launched in 2026, sold on a published per-user subscription.

We are a Zoho partner and do not sell Tally or SAP Business One, so we do not quote their prices or feature lists here. Ask each vendor for a written quote and compare all three on the same questions:

  • What is the total cost for three years, including licences, implementation, hosting and annual support?
  • Which Indian statutory items are handled inside the product, and which need an add-on?
  • Is there a limit on users, transactions or companies, and what does it cost to cross it?
  • Who will implement it, and can you speak to a customer of similar size in India?
  • How does it connect to your CRM, your website and your bank?

For Zoho ERP, the answers to the cost and limit questions are on Zoho's pricing page and in the tables above.

How does a Zoho ERP implementation run?

Biz Systems is a Zoho Advanced Partner, founded in 2024, with more than 100 clients. Every project follows the same method, and the ERP is built in phases with a weekly review.

  1. Discovery call. A free 30-minute call to understand entities, plants, warehouses, users and the current software.
  2. Count what is really there. We measure the current systems before configuring anything: open orders, duplicate customers, items with no price, steps done by hand.
  3. Agree the process definitions. When a sale counts as won, who may give a discount, who approves a purchase, when stock is treated as received. These are written down and signed off.
  4. Fixed-price proposal. A phase plan with a price for each phase. There is no published range for Zoho ERP; it is quoted after discovery.
  5. Clean and migrate master data. Items, customers, vendors, chart of accounts, opening stock and balances.
  6. Build in phases. A common order is finance first, then purchasing and stock, then production, then payroll, then integrations with CRM and other systems.
  7. Parallel run. The old and new ledgers run side by side. The new ledger goes live only after an accountant has matched the two.
  8. Train by role and support. Each role is trained on its own screens. Thirty days of support after go-live are included, with an optional monthly retainer afterwards.

Timelines depend on scope. The one reference we publish is the six-phase, six-month project described below. To start, book a discovery call.

What happens to our existing data?

Data migration is where most ERP projects gain or lose their credibility with the accounts team. We split it into four parts.

Masters

Items with units and HSN codes, customers and vendors with GSTINs, the chart of accounts, warehouses and employees. These are cleaned before loading: duplicates merged, missing prices filled, inactive records left behind.

Opening position

Ledger balances, unpaid invoices and bills, and stock by warehouse on the cut-over date. Stock is counted physically where the books cannot be trusted.

Open documents

Sales orders, purchase orders and work in progress that are open on the cut-over date, so nothing in flight is lost.

History

You decide how much past data to bring across. Many companies load opening balances and keep the old system readable for earlier years.

For comparison, our published benchmark for a Tally to Zoho Books migration is two to four weeks plus a 30-day parallel run, and we have completed more than 30 of them. A Zoho ERP migration covers more records and is planned inside the phase schedule.

What does a real Zoho ERP project look like?

Our most detailed published example is a packaging manufacturer with three plants, three warehouses and about sixty people, running Zoho CRM and Zoho ERP. At the start, 594 enquiries had produced 17 orders, 600 bills a day were typed by hand, and 76% of 1,618 products had no recorded selling price.

The definitions were agreed first. The flow was then rebuilt so that a won deal creates the order and the invoice follows from despatch. The work was delivered in six phases over six months.

Read the packaging manufacturer case study

What mistakes do companies make with a new ERP?

  • Configuring before counting. Screens get built for a process nobody has measured, and the first month of live data shows the assumptions were wrong.
  • Loading a dirty item master. Duplicate and unpriced items carry straight into the new system and every report inherits the problem.
  • Going live everywhere on one day. Finance, stores, production and payroll all change at once, and no team can help another.
  • Skipping the parallel run. The ledger is trusted on day one and the first mismatch appears at the GST return.
  • Buying licences for everyone at the start. Users are added by phase, so licences can follow the rollout.
  • Choosing the edition on price alone. The transaction allowance and the feature list matter as much as the per-user rate.
  • Training everyone in one session. A storekeeper and an accountant need different screens and different sessions.

Frequently asked questions

What is Zoho ERP?

Zoho ERP is an enterprise resource planning product that Zoho launched for India on 23 January 2026. It covers core financials, supply chain, billing, people and payroll, spend management and omnichannel commerce, with Indian compliance included: GST, e-invoicing, EPF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund.

How much does Zoho ERP cost in India?

As listed by Zoho on 5 October 2026, Standard is Rs 999 per user per month billed annually, with a minimum of 5 users and 100,000 transactions a year. Premium is Rs 2,499 per user per month billed annually with 300,000 transactions a year. Employee self-service is Rs 249 per employee per month. A Custom edition is quoted by Zoho.

What does Zoho ERP cost for 15 users for a year?

At the listed annual-billing prices, 15 Standard users cost 15 x Rs 999 x 12 = Rs 1,79,820 a year, and 15 Premium users cost 15 x Rs 2,499 x 12 = Rs 4,49,820 a year. These figures are licence only. They exclude GST, employee self-service licences and the implementation fee.

What is the difference between Zoho ERP and Zoho One?

Zoho One is a bundle of Zoho apps such as CRM, Books, People, Inventory and Desk on one subscription. Zoho ERP is a single product built around finance, supply chain and payroll for Indian companies. In our working view, Zoho ERP suits manufacturers and distributors in India, and Zoho One suits companies that want the wider suite.

Can we move from Tally to Zoho ERP?

Yes. The work is the same in kind as any ledger migration in India: clean the item, customer and vendor masters, bring in opening balances and opening stock, then run both systems side by side until an accountant has matched them. Biz Systems has completed more than 30 Tally migrations to Zoho Books.

How long does a Zoho ERP implementation take?

It depends on the number of plants, warehouses, entities and sales channels. As one reference from India, the packaging manufacturer in our published case study, with three plants, three warehouses and about sixty people, was built in six phases over six months. Smaller scopes take less time.

How much does Zoho ERP implementation cost?

Biz Systems does not publish a price range for Zoho ERP implementation in India. Each project is quoted as a fixed price after a free 30-minute discovery call, delivered in phases, with 30 days of support after go-live included. Zoho licences are bought by you from Zoho and are separate.

Is Zoho ERP available outside India?

At present Zoho ERP is offered for India only. Its compliance features are built for Indian law: GST, e-invoicing, EPF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund. Companies with entities in other countries usually keep those entities on Zoho Books for that country.
