In brief Biz Systems is a Zoho Advanced Partner with 100+ clients. For UAE companies we implement Zoho Books UAE edition (5% VAT, corporate tax, e-invoicing), Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory and Zoho One at a fixed price in AED or USD. We have built Zoho Books for one UAE mainland company and one UAE free-zone entity. We have no UAE office: delivery is remote from Kolkata, India, 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Gulf time.

Zoho sells the software. A partner makes it fit how your company trades. For a UAE business that means deciding how many Zoho Books organisations you need, loading a clean chart of accounts and opening balances, setting the VAT treatment on every customer, supplier and item, connecting sales and stock to the ledger, and training each person on the screens they will use.

We follow the same method on every project. We count what is really in your current system first. We agree process definitions with you before configuring anything. We clean and migrate master data, build in phases with a weekly review, run old and new systems side by side before the ledger goes live, and train by role.

The sections below describe what we configure in each product for a UAE entity. Your licences are bought by you, directly from Zoho, and stay in your company's name.

Zoho Books UAE implementation

Zoho Books has a UAE edition with AED as the base currency and VAT and corporate tax settings built in. Most UAE projects start here. We configure:

  • Organisation and chart of accounts. One organisation per legal entity, with the tax registration number, financial year and account structure your auditor expects.
  • VAT treatments. A treatment on each customer, supplier and item, so that standard-rated, zero-rated, exempt and reverse-charge transactions land in the right boxes of the VAT return report.
  • Multi-currency. Customers and suppliers in USD, EUR or INR, with exchange gains and losses posted by the system.
  • Banking. Bank accounts, statement imports or feeds where your bank supports them, and reconciliation rules.
  • E-invoicing. Master-data clean-up, onboarding with Zoho as your Accredited Service Provider, and testing. The full steps are on our UAE e-invoicing with Zoho Books guide.
  • Reports. Receivables ageing, payables, cash position and profit by entity, built for the people who read them.

Zoho lists six UAE plans, from Free at AED 0 to Standard at AED 60 and Ultimate at AED 660 per organisation per month, billed annually, as listed by Zoho on 5 October 2026. Our general approach to accounting projects is on the Zoho Books implementation page.

Zoho CRM for UAE sales teams

UAE trading and distribution firms usually sell through repeat buyers, trade enquiries and a few salespeople who keep everything on WhatsApp. We set up Zoho CRM so that every enquiry is recorded once and followed up on time:

  • Lead capture from the website, email and enquiry forms, with an owner assigned by rule.
  • A pipeline that matches your real stages: enquiry, quotation, negotiation, order confirmed, delivered.
  • Quotations in AED or USD, with price lists by customer type.
  • Follow-up reminders and a weekly pipeline report the sales head will read.
  • A link to Zoho Books so a confirmed order becomes an invoice without retyping.

More detail is on our Zoho CRM implementation page.

Zoho Inventory for UAE traders and distributors

Zoho Inventory handles stock across more than one warehouse, purchase and sales orders, backorders, drop shipments, and serial or batch tracking with expiry dates. For a UAE entity we configure warehouses and transfer orders, item masters with units and tax treatments, landed-cost allocation of freight and duty onto purchases, reorder points, and the posting of every stock movement to Zoho Books.

Customs declarations and free-zone gate paperwork stay with your clearing agent. We record the resulting costs and stock movements correctly. The two UAE companies we work with are both in this category; see our trading and distribution page.

Zoho One for a UAE company

Zoho One is a single subscription that bundles Zoho's apps, including CRM, Books, People, Inventory, Desk, Projects, Analytics and Creator. Zoho sells it per employee or per user. We do not quote the licence price here because it changes by country and plan; check Zoho's pricing page or estimate it with our Zoho pricing calculator.

Zoho One suits a UAE company that wants sales, finance, stock and HR on one login and is ready to change how several departments work at once. We roll it out in phases, finance and sales first, and describe the sequence on our Zoho One implementation page. If you only need accounting and stock, buying Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory separately usually costs less.

Zoho ERP, launched in January 2026, is India-only at present and is not an option for a UAE entity. Our Zoho ERP page covers it for Indian companies.

Zoho People for UAE teams

Zoho People holds employee records, leave, attendance and approvals. For a UAE entity we set up leave types and the holiday calendar you give us, attendance rules, an approval chain, and fields with reminders for document expiry dates such as passports, residence visas and Emirates IDs.

Payroll is a separate product. Zoho Payroll has a UAE edition that Zoho says generates SIF files for the Wage Protection System and calculates end-of-service benefits. We have delivered Zoho People and payroll for Indian companies, described on our HR and payroll page.

Zoho Analytics for group reporting

Each Zoho Books organisation reports on itself. An owner with two or three entities wants one view. We connect every organisation to Zoho Analytics and build receivables by entity and customer, cash by bank and currency, sales and margin by product line, and stock value by warehouse, converted to one reporting currency. See our Zoho Analytics page for examples.

What UAE tax and e-invoicing rules must the system handle?

Thresholds, rates and dates are from the Federal Tax Authority, the Ministry of Finance and Zoho's UAE pages, linked under Sources. We implement the system. The tax position must come from a UAE-registered tax agent.

If your UAE revenue is AED 50 million or more: the date to appoint a provider is 30 October 2026. Read the e-invoicing steps and start the master-data clean-up now.

How do mainland and free-zone entities change the setup?

Many UAE groups hold a mainland company and one or more free-zone companies. They are separate legal persons, and the system has to respect that.

QuestionHow we set it up
Number of Zoho Books organisationsOne per legal entity. Each has its own tax registration, bank accounts, document numbering and users.
Sales between group entitiesRecorded as an invoice in one organisation and a bill in the other, on dedicated inter-company accounts that are matched every month.
Designated zonesUAE VAT law treats certain free zones as designated zones, where some movements of goods are handled differently. Your tax agent tells us which treatment applies to which flow, and we map it to a tax treatment in Zoho Books.
Imports and reverse chargeWhere your tax agent confirms the reverse-charge mechanism applies, the supplier or item is set up so the entry reaches the correct box of the VAT return.
Corporate tax for free-zone companiesFree-zone companies may qualify for a different corporate tax treatment if they meet set conditions. That decision belongs to your tax adviser; we structure accounts so the income types can be reported separately.
Group viewAll organisations feed Zoho Analytics for combined receivables, cash and margin, with inter-company balances shown separately.

We describe these rules only in general terms on purpose. Before go-live we ask your tax agent to sign off a one-page list of every transaction type and its VAT treatment.

How do we handle an Indian parent with a UAE entity?

This is the work we know best. An Indian manufacturer or trader opens a UAE company to buy, stock and sell abroad. The two companies then need different tax engines and one owner view.

Our proof is one group. Duratuf Products, an industrial rubber manufacturer in India, runs the full Zoho One suite that we implemented. For its UAE mainland company, Duratuf Global Trading L.L.C., we set up Zoho Books with multi-currency transactions, bank reconciliation and receivables and cash-flow dashboards. For its free-zone entity, Duratuf Products FZE, we built a structured Zoho Books foundation that replaced spreadsheet tracking. More examples are on our case studies page.

The export from India is a purchase in the UAE books. We agree item codes, pricing and the monthly inter-company reconciliation with both finance teams. Transfer pricing documentation stays with your auditors.

Can you migrate us from Tally, QuickBooks or spreadsheets?

Yes. We have completed 30+ Tally migrations. A migration to Zoho Books typically takes two to four weeks, followed by a 30-day parallel run. We move the chart of accounts, customers and suppliers with tax registration numbers, items, opening balances, open invoices and bills, and opening stock by warehouse.

Older history can be loaded as transactions or kept as a read-only archive; we recommend one of the two after seeing the data. From spreadsheets, the first job is building the masters that never existed. Our Zoho Books versus Tally comparison explains what changes for the accounts team.

How does remote delivery run week by week?

India is 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of the UAE. We work Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM India time, which is 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Gulf time. This is the plan for a typical six-week Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory project.

  1. Before week 1: discovery call and proposal. A free 30-minute video call, then a written scope, timeline and one fixed price in AED or USD.
  2. Week 1: count and agree. We export what is in your current system, list the gaps, and agree process definitions and the tax treatment list with your accountant and tax agent.
  3. Week 2: masters. Chart of accounts, customers, suppliers and items cleaned and loaded. You review them on a one-hour video session.
  4. Weeks 3 and 4: build. Invoicing, purchasing, stock, banking and reports configured, with a weekly review where you see real screens.
  5. Week 5: migration and parallel run starts. Opening balances, open documents and stock moved across. Both systems run until the numbers match.
  6. Week 6: training and go-live. Recorded training for each role, then go-live on an agreed date.
  7. After go-live: 30 days of support included. Questions go to us on WhatsApp and email; an optional monthly retainer follows.

A single-product project usually takes four to eight weeks and a full Zoho One rollout six to twelve. We do not promise visits to the UAE.

Who should not hire us?

  • A company that needs a consultant in its UAE office every week.
  • A team that needs training or support in Arabic. We work in English.
  • A business that wants its partner to give VAT or corporate tax opinions. We work alongside your tax agent.
  • A buyer who wants the partner to resell licences on local credit terms. You buy directly from Zoho.

A UAE-based Zoho partner will serve you better in those cases, and Zoho's partner directory lists them. We fit best with trading, distribution and manufacturing businesses, especially Indian-owned groups with companies on both sides.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in the UAE?

No. Biz Systems has one office, in Kolkata, India, and no UAE phone number. UAE projects are delivered remotely on video, a shared project board and WhatsApp. India is 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of the UAE, so our working hours cover 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Gulf time, Monday to Saturday.

Which Zoho products do you implement for UAE companies?

Zoho Books UAE edition for VAT, corporate tax and e-invoicing; Zoho CRM for sales pipelines; Zoho Inventory for stock across warehouses; Zoho People for HR records, leave and attendance; Zoho Analytics for group reporting; Zoho Creator for custom apps; and Zoho One when a UAE company wants the whole suite on one subscription.

Is Zoho Books ready for UAE VAT and e-invoicing?

Zoho Books has a UAE edition with VAT and corporate tax settings, and Zoho Software Trading LLC is on the UAE Ministry of Finance list of Accredited Service Providers for e-invoicing. Accreditation lists change, so check the Ministry page linked under Sources before you sign up.

Do a mainland company and a free-zone company need separate Zoho Books accounts?

In our UAE projects each legal entity gets its own Zoho Books organisation, with its own tax registration, bank accounts and numbering. Sales between the two are recorded as inter-company transactions in both sets of books, and group reports are combined in Zoho Analytics. Your UAE tax agent confirms the VAT treatment.

Can you run an Indian company and its UAE entity on Zoho together?

Yes. This is the UAE work we do most: an Indian parent on Zoho Books India edition with GST, and a UAE mainland or free-zone entity on the UAE edition with VAT, each in its own currency, with consolidated receivables, cash and margin reports in Zoho Analytics.

How do you charge UAE clients?

A fixed project price in AED or USD, agreed in writing after a free 30-minute discovery call. We do not publish a UAE price range. The price includes 30 days of support after go-live. Your Zoho subscription is separate and is paid by you directly to Zoho.

Where is our Zoho data stored?

Zoho opened data centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in January 2026. The data centre is fixed when the Zoho account is created, so a UAE business that cares about data residency should raise it before signing up. We check this on the discovery call.

Is Zoho ERP available in the UAE?

At present, no. Zoho ERP launched in January 2026 for India only, with Indian statutory compliance. A UAE business that wants finance, stock, sales and HR in one system uses Zoho Books UAE edition with Zoho Inventory and Zoho CRM, or the Zoho One bundle.
